Our approach has led to laser drivers for LiDAR and rangefinders that are twice as efficient as traditional approaches; factory-configurable data converters that ensure lower costs, higher performance and shorter lead times; and UV technologies that revolutionize hygiene management in food and pharmaceutical production, and advance the fight against superbugs.

Meet the team.
Robert Lobban
Managing Director
Robert founded Silanna in 2006 and has been the managing director of the company’s global operations since that date. He has led Silanna through a series of technology commercializations and is responsible for establishing Australia’s only epitaxial wafer manufacturing facility.
Jon Murray
CFO
Since joining the company in 2010, Jon has played a key role in supporting Silanna’s global operations. Jon is a qualified chartered management accountant (ACMA), CPA and BA (Hons), and brings extensive financial international management experience including 11 years at Rover Cars / Land Rover and nine years in global motorsport (including Formula 1).
Robbie Charters
VP Operations, UV LEDs
With extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing and advanced materials, Robbie leads Silanna’s UV LED business. Robbie holds a PhD from Cranfield University and is responsible for manufacturing and production readiness at Silanna’s Brisbane-based fabrication facility.
TJ de Jony
VP Business Development, UV LEDs
TJ is Vice President of Business Development for Silanna's UV LED business. He has over 30 years of experience across the LED and semiconductor industry, including senior roles at Rayvio, Intematix, and NXP. He is responsible for driving commercial growth and strategic partnerships for Silanna.
Mark Drucker
CEO Semiconductors
Mark was a co-founder and CEO of IO Semiconductor, which was acquired by Silanna Semiconductor in 2012. He has 35 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, 23 of which have been in executive management.
Randy Wayland
VP, Data Converter Products
Randy brings over 30 years of experience in semiconductor design, product development, and executive leadership.
Patrick Moore
VP, Global Semiconductor Sales
Patrick Moore is Vice President, Sales at Silanna Semiconductor, Inc. Based in the United States, he leads the company’s sales, distribution, field applications engineering, and customer applications engineering teams, supporting Silanna's global customer base.
Emily MacKillop
Legal Counsel
Emily is responsible for the company's legal affairs across Silanna’s global operations. She holds a law degree from the University of Queensland and brings experience from leading firms including King & Wood Mallesons and Clayton Utz.
